The search and evaluation involved a set of ten questions, three of which were directed to the sacred writings and seven to the flesh-and-blood founders o f the five great world religions – Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Judaism.  An example of the questions to the writings: “Would the writing fall into the classification of folklore, legend, myth or history?” Obviously, in this classification, the historical writing would have the greatest credibility. An example of the questions to the founders: “What is the highest claim you make for yourself?” None of the founders could have predicted this question and so the premise is that they each made a claim they knew to be true and by which they wanted to be known.
